TOYOTA has released a range of genuine accessories designed to widen the versatility of its new Tarago seven and eight-seat wagon for families.
Children's bicycles and other recreational equipment can be carried using Tarago's roof rack with optional attachments.
Boats and trailers can be transported with a genuine accessory towbar, developed, tested and approved by Toyota engineers.
The towbar is practical, attractive and tough, with a 1600kg braked capacity and a rear step/protector to help prevent damage to the rear bumper.
Toyota also offers a choice of genuine accessory trailer wiring harnesses to suit most towing applications.
The interior of the new Tarago can be fitted with a number of extras to enhance its durability under the rigours of family life.
Floor mats and seat covers, designed specifically to match models with grey interiors, will help protect carpet and upholstery from wear and spills.
The exact-fit floor mats complement Tarago's grey interior colour scheme and have been designed to prevent them from sliding around.
Seat covers feature a durable and attractive thick-weave fabric tailor-made for the new Tarago, and because they're designed specifically for the new Tarago there are no unsightly sags or folds.
Occupants of the new GLi grade Tarago can be entertained by fitting a Toyota genuine in-dash CD player.
Toyota has also designed Toyota genuine accessories to protect and enhance the exterior of the new Tarago.
Fifteen-inch alloy wheels available to suit the Tarago GLi grade's original equipment tyres feature chiselled spoke styling and a bright silver finish.
Other Tarago exterior accessories include acrylic headlight covers, right and left-side weathershields and a reverse parking sensor.
The third generation of Toyota's trend-setting family wagon features a front engine/front drive configuration for increased interior space and, for the first time, has sliding rear side doors on both sides.
The new Tarago is powered by an all-new 2.4 litre all-alloy Twin Cam Multi-valve VVT-i four-cylinder engine with 12.7 per cent more power, through a highly efficient electronically controlled automatic transmission.
